Proposed training Programes of NITUB for 2010
a. 40th Training Program of NITUB on the Use and Maintenance of either AAS (2-3 weeks duration training program)
Venue : Department of Soil, Water and Environment and Department of Geology, University of Dhaka.
Date : 05 –07 June 2010.
Participants : A maximum of 10 participants will be selected from among the faculty members, research scientists and technical personnel of Bangladesh.
b. 39th Training Programme of NITUB on the Use and Maintenance of Common Laboratory Equipment for College Teachers.
Venue : Rajshahi College, Rajshahi
Date : 26 June –01 July 2010
Participants : A maximum of 20 college teachers will be selected from different university colleges of Rajshahi Division.
c. 41st Training Program of NITUB on the Use and Maintenance of Common Medical Instruments
Venue :BIRDEM / a public Medical College Hospital, Dhaka
Date : 02 – 07 October, 2010
Participants : A maximum of 20 participants will be selected from among the medical professional of public and private hospitals, colleges and health centres of Bangladesh.
d. 42nd Training Program of NITUB on UV-VIS and IR Spectrometer.
Venue :BCSIR laboratories Dhaka
Date : December , 2010
Participants : A maximum of 20 participants will be selected from among the faculty members, research scientists and technical personnel of different universities and research organisations of Bangladesh.
e. Training Program of NITUB on basic electronics.
Venue :NITUB office, Dhaka
Date : November and December , 2010
Participants : A maximum of 10 participants will be selected from among the technical personnel of different universities and research organisations of Bangladesh.
Resource persons : The training programs will be conducted by university professor/ faculty members, faculty members of medical colleges, scientists, engineer and technical experts of NITUB.
Please note that the circulars for these training programs will be posted in NITUB’s website in due time.
Instrument Repair Program : Instrument repair program of NITUB runs throughout the year. Scientists/technical personnel are requested to contact NITUB office to repair their non-functioning scientific instruments.

NITUB will continue to take following programmes;
+ Training programmes for college level science teachers and technicians
+ Short and long term courses on common subjects like basic electronics, instrumentations, laboratory safety etc. |
